My brother's transmission went out, which meant we had to go get it fixed. While he was talking to the owner, I entertained myself by exploring the selection of "project cars" out back. It's a Jalopnik paradise!

I'll have to check on that when we go back in the next couple days. My suspicion is that my brother's car just needs a new slave cylinder, but it could need a new clutch and transmission.

How far are you willing to drive if they can't get it quite to Madison or can only pay you $4999 to take it off their hands?
